1. Oct 13,  · Van Halen there are only two album tracks over five minutes in length. OU, though, has a 7 minute long track, and four other tracks over 5 minutes long. One might think that the band might overstay their welcome, given the song economy of the early Roth era, but not so.

7. Apr 29,  · When summer hits I'll play "Van Halen II" and "OU" a lot. "Beautiful Girls" and "Cabo Wabo" put me right on a beautiful sandy beach every time! I love every Hagar VH record about as much as any Dave era record, given the mood I'm in. What makes Van Halen great is Eddies songwriting and evolution as a musician, and producer.
