  1. A Rhino remastered edition of the last in classical line-up Yes album released in With Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman, this is evident from the first song. Both the sound and decoration are at a top level. Highly recommended!
  2. Future Times/Rejoice is a masterpiece, and the rest ranges from good to excellent to another masterpiece in Circus (one of the most vivid sound images I know of, takes me on that field abinourtenlopeahypampwithsmestitic.coinfo), maybe Onward as well. One of the few Yes albums I don't listen as much as an album as I do as individual pieces separately.
  3. The album that came to be known as "Tormato" really should have been called "Yes Tor." The actual Yes Tor, a high point of land in the county of Devon in southwestern England, can be seen on the album's cover, behind the man in the suit with the dowsing rods, and the tomato splatter/5().
  4. The final stop of the U.S. Tormato tour was highlighted in this broadcast with some songs rarely if ever heard in other Yes tours, particularly don't kill the whale, circus of heaven, and on the silent wings of freedom (I'm counting the 79 tour as basically 78 part two tour, since there was no new Yes album .
  5. It is the last album featuring singer Jon Anderson and keyboardist Wakeman before the band's disbanding in However Anderson returned to Yes when the band reformed in , and Wakeman returned in See YES on Tour in performing 3 full-length albums: The Yes Album, Close To The Edge & Going For The One.
  6. Dec 23,  · Tormato is the ninth studio album by English progressive rock band Yes. It was released on 22 September on Atlantic Records, and is their last album with singer Jon Anderson and keyboardist Rick Wakeman before their departure from the group in and the last album to feature the lineup of Anderson, Wakeman, Chris Squire, Steve Howe and Alan White until 's Keys to /5(30).
  7. Tormato is Yes' worst album since Time and a Word or the self-titled debut, but at least those two albums showcased a band who were growing into their prime. Tormato, by contrast, captures the group in severe decline.3/5().
